Old video but there it looks like you installed the filter for shallow pan. The half metal one is for the shorter flat pan. You need the longer filter or will have some issues when the pickup is uncovered.

Best video I've seen of Ruka. Been there only once about 22-23 years and 60 kg ago snowboarding. And the weather was brutal with about -35 celsius and 15 m/s headwind.😅 Cool that you know how to both ski and ride a snowboard, although your board looks very short. I only how to ride a snowboard, never even tried skiing 😅. Still doing it at 37 years old and at a 120 kg. The more you weigh, the faster you go, it's the law of gravity. 😂

Want to delete them my self on my 318d, but i doubt the tape would last, i am from Latvia, we have -20 in winter, +30 in summer, that tape would peel off within a season :/ and actual non-roof rail moldings are like 300 euros a piece :O and afaik, electrical tape is really the only way you can seal the holes. Maybe... just maybe, you could ''weld'' small plastic pieces on the underside of the holes, seal the tiny gaps with sealant left behind, prime and recolor the rails?
